How to Help
Donate
Your tax-exempt donation helps us save goat and sheep lives.
As a 501(c)3 organization, New Moon Farm receives no city, county, state or federal funding. Our work is supported solely by individual donors like you.
It costs approximately $35 a month to provide the basic care of hay, grain, vaccinations, de-worming, and hoof care for one goat or sheep. The cost increases for Injured animals or those with chronic health problems requiring long-term veterinary care. Every dollar you donate goes directly to the care of the sanctuary herd.
To send a check, please make it out to New Moon Farm and send it to: 27302 59th Ave NE, Arlington, WA 98223. Thank you!
We understand that not everyone can have a goat of their own. But that doesn’t mean you can’t help care for one!
There are three great ways to help New Moon Farm:
Sponsor
Help us ensure that the Sanctuary Herd receives the care they need for the rest of their lives.
Not everyone can have their own goat. But that doesn’t mean you can’t help care for one!
The Sanctuary herd consists mostly of animals surrendered to us by animal control or cases of extreme neglect. Sponsorship allows us to give these these special needs animals the compassion and care they need to thrive.
With a sponsorship of $35 or more, you’ll receive access to a downloadable and printable gift card featuring a photo of your sponsored animal and their story.
Volunteer
No money? No problem! Your time is worth gold to us.
We always need help with basic chores – cleaning the barns and pastures, scrubbing water tubs, keeping up with the landscaping and of course, socializing the goats! Join us for a work party or sign up to volunteer on a regular basis.
Are you a skilled laborer? Whatever your expertise, chances are that we could use your help around the farm.
We ask our regular volunteers to commit to a two hour shift, once a week, for a minimum of six months. Volunteers between the ages of twelve and eighteen must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Due to liability issues, we cannot have volunteers under the age of twelve.
